CallQ Trainer
A Show Caller training tool using pre-installed productions
For Drama Schools, Colleges and CPD
The show caller cues the show (a video of the production) using the downloadable printed prompt copy and cuelights (overlay for keyboard supplied).
The software provides an immersive learning experience by allowing user to repeat and perfect miscued sequences.
A show report will be generated at curtain down, which reflects the caller’s performance, noting miscues.
Choice of six productions
All productions come with a clear and accessible prompt copy.
1. ‘Dr Spook’
Short play produced for this training software. Prompt copy includes examples of professional blocking techniques.
2. ‘The Mikado’
18-minute extract to train in cueing to music (score provided)
3. ‘Carnegie’
Extract from a semi-staged musical performance. Digital prompt copy offers cueing to a score, libretto and script.
4. ‘Mother Tongue’
40 min extract and full length production of ‘Mother Tongue’ with another example of a digitised prompt copy. Includes some very challenging cueing sequences!
5. ‘Brochero’ (In Spanish – En Español)
30-minutes extract of an Argentinian musical. Digitised prompt copy includes lighting and sound cues. (Extracto de 30 minutos de un musical argentino. El libreto digitalizado incluye pies de luz y sonido)

A programmable show simulator using your own productions
For Show Cover, In-House Training and CPD
Film your own productions, then program in the cues using your own show’s prompt copy.
Editing facilities easy to use to tighten up/change/update sequences if required.
Rerun in ‘Cue’ mode to train others in your team
